Welcome to the Barony of Starkhafn; located in Las Vegas, Nevada and surrounding areas.
We are one of the Baronies in the Kingdom of Caid which is part of the Society for Creative Anachronism or the SCA.
The SCA is a non-profit 501c3 group that recreates the Middle Ages from 600s until 1650. The SCA is comprised of Kingdoms that are divided into Baronies which can contain Shires, Cantons and Colleges. Honor, Chivalry and Courtesy are the watch words of this Family oriented group. Our Barony boasts many fine warriors, archers and artisans who can show their skill and latest creations at tournaments. Fighter practices and classes are scheduled weekly. If your interest lies in martial arts, costuming, cooking or any of a number of other areas, you can find like minded companions to hang with and share skills.
Our Barony is "governed" by the Baron and Baroness who "rule" this land in the Name of the King and Queen. The Baron and Baroness are aided by Their Court and the Officers of the Barony. Enjoy browsing the web site. Then come join us as we journey though time and live as nobles; feasting and dancing at court or perhaps defending our borders from invasion with our bravest warriors.
